No matter what the purpose is nowadays we are all using air planes for transportation. The reason for using this transportation method can vary. Some of us use it because we want to get our destination faster, some of us are looking for comfort, or we just love flying. As in every other daily activity we need to get dressed for airplane trips too. In this article we will recommend some styling tips applicable for everyone hope you’ll enjoy!
Let’s start with the easiest and more common group of air travellers: business people. You will have a one-day trip so you’ll fly two times in a day. You need to be official and you don’t have time to change between your arrival and meeting. If you are a man the solution is simple wearing a suit but if suit is not required you can wear a black or beige fabric pants which are not too stretch. If you go with black you can wear beige or grey jacket with white shirt. You can finish the combination with a pair of black loafer or shoes that belong to the “business cage” category. If you choose beige you can wear a white shirt with a brown or dark blue jacket with beige or brown shoes. I don’t advise to wear a tie if there is no dress code about it. This will help you travel more comfortable and will give you an official look. If you are a businesswoman, unless indicated otherwise in the dress code, I don’t recommend to wear skirt. It is not very comfortable to walk around with skirt and it can come up every time you sit. Instead of skirts you can wear pantsuit in any colour with a white shirt and you can out a very simple long necklace. You can make a pony tale or messy (not too much) bun. Another option is to wear a dress. It needs to be made of elastic fabric to ease the movement. You can prefer taint hider dark colours like black, bordeaux. You can combine them with a scarf and you can make a French or Dutch braid.
If you are travelling for touristic purposes the tips will be given based on the flight duration. If you fly for 3-4 hours you can wear anything you want. But my advice is to wear skinny (but not too much) blue jean with a white t-shirt and a hoodie. The colour of the hoodie is not important because the blue jean and white t-shirt are very simple. This part of the combination is the same for both men and women. For the accessory part you can wear a sport watch. You can wear any kind of shoes which don’t have an official look. Men with long hair can make a bun or a pony tail. If you are a woman you can make messy bun or a simple braid.
If you are travelling more than 4 hours you should avoid skinny clothing items. The air pressure Is already the enemy of blood circulation of your body so don’t make things worse. Prefer bell bottomed trousers or sweatpants. You can always wear white t-shirt so I am skipping that part. Take an item which has a zipper. The temperature in the airplanes can vary from time to time the warming item that you’ll wear needs to be easy to wear and take off. Wear sport shoes which have orthopaedic sole. Avoid too many accessories. Believe me not just for your comfort but also for the X-ray securities 😊
Of course, these are very general suggestions. So, you can always make changes or adjustments. Before ending don’t forget to check the weather on your arrival date in your destination so that you can choose convenient shoes or hoodies. Have a nice trip 😊
